Ever wonder how many strawberries you can devour in a matter of seconds and how it feels to have strawberry tarts thrown in your face? Then enter the gooey contests that gets everyone into the act! Prizes are awarded to various age groups. Application forms available at the contest area and sign ups begin 30 minutes prior to each contest. No entry fee this year and the laughs are priceless. You can find the contest area in its new and improved location near the Blue Gate entrance.

12:00PM - Strawberry Tart Toss
Peer through cut-outs on a large board painted with a bowl of strawberries to become targets while fellow contestants take aim with strawberry tarts. Points are awarded on direct hits and prizes given to those with the highest score in three throws. Delicious and gooey! Towels provided for clean up. (Strawberry Pies & Tarts -provided by Carrows. Pies available for sale in the contest area.)

3:00PM - Strawberry Shortcake Eating Contest
Your hearty appetite is put to the test with your hands behind your back as you devour a bowl of strawberry shortcake complete with whip cream and all the fixings. The first to finish goes to the final heat for more eats in record time where prizes are awarded. Crowds cheer you on!
