Welcome to the California Strawberry Festival

Things to Do at the Festival
Each year strawberry lovers unite for the premier outdoor event tempting any appetite for fun. The California Strawberry Festival is Saturday and Sunday, May 17 and 18 from 10 am to 6:30 pm each day.

This multi-faceted celebration also serves up a menu of delectable strawberry delights, along with non-stop entertainment, Strawberryland For Kids, gooey contests for berry lovers of all ages, and more.

The world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales will be on parade Festival weekend. An eight-horse hitch of “gentle giants” complete with a Dalmatian mascot is an impressive sight pulling the 12-ton, traditional red, white and gold beer wagon that was first showcased back in the 1930s.

Presented by the all-volunteer California Strawberry Festival Executive Board, the tasty tribute to the luscious fruit garnered from the County's bountiful 8,500 berry acres nets proceeds to benefit more than 40 non-profit organizations and scholarships to help brighten futures. The Festival has been recognized by the Library of Congress and the International Festivals Association for its community outreach programs and charitable contributions. A recent study by the International Festival and Events Association (IFEA) estimates that the yearly Festival economic impact to the community is an astounding $7.5 million dollars.
