A jam-packed menu of Festival fun, the weekend celebration includes the "erry best" for everyone! Strawberry Foods: More than 50 food booths tempt the heartiest appetite with everything from strawberry pizza and strawberry nachos, deep fried Twinkies with strawberries, to strawberry kabobs, strawberry flan, cotton candy, strawberry beer, wine and more. Whether it's shortcaked, chocolate dipped, ice blended, or funnel caked, strawberries are the celebrated fruit. Strawberries by the pint and flat, along with strawberry plants are among the take home delights. Best of all, with each scrumptious bite, proceeds from non-profit food and concession booths benefit close to 20 charitable groups throughout the Southland. Last year's event generated $270,000 in non-profit funding, topping the $2 million mark for donations since the Festival began in 1984. The popular "Build Your Own" Strawberry Shortcake Tent allows you to control your own delicious destiny. (tent supplies include: 3000 loaves of Entenmann's all Butter Pound Cake, topped by 8,000 pounds of sliced berries, 275 flats of whole berries and finished off with 1500 cans of Lucerne Whipped Cream!)
